How to Subscribe to a Topic

Postby Gekkosan » Thu Aug 23, 2012 9:19 am

Recently someone asked whether it was possible to subscribe to a topic, or thread, in order to know when something new was added to it.

Yes, the option is there, although it may not be very obvious.

If you look at the top of the first post of any thread after it has been published, you can see the following links:

Subscribe topic | Bookmark topic | Print view | E-mail friend

In some of the templates these texts are a bit hard to read, but they are there. Click on "Subscribe Topic", and you'll get notified by mail every time a new post is added to the thread.

Note: these items are not visible when you're composing the first message. They only appear after the thread has been published!

Oh. Never noticed that, of course, I am not suscribed to anything at all.

I am using silver something...you can see the suscribe very well with that template, very nice colour, have a look ;)
I appreciate all English corrections, especially on style! :)
